La Prof. Stella Grandi informa que desde el pasado martes 22 de agosto pasado la pueden ver por el canal 72 de Multicanal en el programa "Estilo Argentino" que se transmite de lunes a viernes de 16 a 16:30 hs y que se repite al dia siguiente a las 8:30 hs, donde enseña a hacer distintas artesanias en distintos tipos de telares. El mismo programa se emite por canal 7 de cablevisión y el canal 79 de telecentro, de lunes a viernes en este caso a partir de las 16:30 hs y repetición al otro dia en el horario de 8:30 a 9 hs.
Cabe decir también que la Prof. Stella Grandi participa paralelamente en la actualidad en la difusión de este Arte Textil através del programa cultural de barrios del GCBA en "LA USINA" - Santo Domingo 2752 - Barracas . Patrimonio Cultural de interes público y turístico

QUE ES EL FIELTRO ?
Es un material milenario que se obtiene a partir de la lana y cuya principal caracterìstica es que para elaborarlo no se teje y se puede trabajar de diferentes formas con las que se pueden obtener distintos objetos dentro del ámbito industrial como en el textil, para realizar: sacos, sombreros, bolsos, carteras, bufandas, mantas, alfombras, pie de cama, zapatos, collares, mobiliario, decoración, etc.

NOTICIAS: FERIA DE DISEÑO SUSTENTABLE 2009- organizado por el DAS ( Diseños al Sur ) en la Casa de Cultura en Quilmes -
El pasado 19 y 20 de septiembre en la Casa de Cultura de Quilmes se llevó a cabo la Feria de Diseño DAS – Diseños Al Sur – que es un proyecto del Municipio de Quilmes, que apunta a reconocer y estimular la producción local y fomentar el diseño de la zona sur en todas sus fases y en donde participaron alrededor de 50 diseñadores en los rubros de indumentaria, decoración, juguetes, joyería, diseño, textil, calzado, mobiliario e iluminación y en el que además pudieron observarse los resultados del Workshop “Oportunidades para la Fibra de Lana”, dictado a mediados del año por el Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Industrial ( INTI ) en el espacio sustentable en donde las diseñadoras independientes – Susana Beia & Stella Grandi – presentaron una gran variedad de productos en fieltro artesanal, entre los cuales se destacaban: chalinas, sacos, zapatos, bolsos, carteras, almohadones, alfombras y otros accesorios fueron exhibidos y estuvieron a la venta en la Feria de DAS.
